E-SoftSys sets up .Net Conversions practice, dedicated to conversion of legacy applications to .Net

 

Blue Bell, PA, May 30, 2003: E-SoftSys formally announced the formation of .Net conversions practice as part of the Microsoft Development Center. The .Net Conversions practice will provide the following services to companies in USA and Europe:


  • Conversion of J2EE/Java based applications to .Net using C#, VB.Net, Assemblies, Remoting and Web Services with MS SQL Server/Oracle/MS Access backend database.
  • 2-tier PowerBuilder applications to n-tier .Net applications.
  • VB 6.0 application conversion to .Net using VB.Net/C#.Net and Assemblies/Remoting.
  • ASP application to .Net using ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#.Net and Assemblies/Remoting/Web Services.

E-SoftSys has strong expertise in conversion of legacy applications to .Net and has developed the following projects using .Net.


  • WebRental, a web based e-Commerce application for renting/renewing spaces over the internet.
  • FleaMartOnline, an e-Commerce application for large market places and shopping malls.
  • MobilPro, a web based time entry application.
  • e-BusinessPro, an e-commerce application for small to mid-sized businesses.
E-SoftSys is also currently working on a number of .Net conversion projects for our customers. The technology used for developing multi-tier .Net applications are assemblies, ASP.Net, C#, VB.Net, COM Interop, Remoting and Web Services.

A number of E-SoftSys professionals in the MS Development Center are Microsoft certified and have strong expertise in .Net technologies.
